Anzac Day in Pohnpei

Hello All
Anzac Day in Pohnpei is a very special occasion. We hold a dawn service at our home in Kangaroo Court at a memorial down by the river.
The focus is always on remembering those that have served and those that are currently serving all round the world. We always involve lots of children and this year was no exception with Zara reading the Ode of Remembrance and a half pohpeian/kiwi and a half pohpeian/Australian kid as flag bearers.

The ceremony is followed by a gunfire breakfast of Bacon and eggs and the usual coffee and rum. Here are some photos.
